About the event
The offical CMS Garden conference is an UnConference or BarCamp: Any session (prepared or spontaneously) will be announced informally.
You may announce your topic wishlist as well. Usually there will be someone willing to hold a lecture on it. We know from many common activities that it need no more organization than this for a fertile sharing of expertise.

When we organized a barcamp inside Drupal Europe back in 2018 and borrowed the name "OpenWebLounge" from an Automattic booth concept it made "click". We decided to use this much more welcoming name for the same thing.

AI-Bots. Fluch oder Segen?
Irgendwie finden wir das ja auch cool, wenn unsere Inhalte/Angebote direkt bei den GPTs dieser Welt verfügbar sind. Aus Sicht eines Betreibers passieren aber gerade Dinge, die so nicht sein sollten. AI-Bots, die sich in Facetten festfressen, schlechte Skripte, die über Tage die Infrastruktur über Maßen belasten. Welche Konzepte verfolgt ihr? Welche Fragen stellt ihr euch oder eure Kunden? Ausperren, "Crawl-Kontingente" zur Verfügung stellen? Macht ihr das Serverseitig oder nutzt ihr vorgelagerte AI-Bot-Detection? Und wenn es datenschutzfreundlich sein soll, welche Alternativen zu Cloudflare und Co habt ihr im Einsatz?
Als kleine Motivation ins Thema zeige ich euch, wie wir damit (derzeit) umgehen. Wir haben auch noch nicht den heiligen Gral gefunden, sind aber zuversichtlich, dass der eingeschlagene Weg der richtige ist.
Spannend fänd ich, wenn wir nach der Diskussion noch Kurskorrekturen vornehmen.

ich bin vom "Team Contao" und kann zwei Hüte in den Ring werfen:
A: Ich arbeite und entwickle viel an und mit der Erweiterung MetaModels für Contao, mit der eigene Datenstrukturen leicht in Contao angelegt werden können sowie Listen und Filterungen im Frontend für die Ausgabe bereit stehen - also wenn man Produktkataloge, Mitarbeiterlisten, Events, POIs u.v.a.m. benötigt,

B: Im MetaModels-Team kümmere ich mich auch um die Refinanzierung dieser OSS. Welche Versuche wir in den 12 Jahren unternommen haben für die Entwicklung eine finanzielle Unterstützung zu erhalten, kann ich gerne berichten...
